Shelley B Palestis
June 14, 1950 - May 3, 2022
On June 14, 1950, the world became a better place when Shelley Palestis was welcomed into her loving family by John and Helen Brown. FYI- she thought that flags were flown that day because it was HER birthday. She joined her sister Kathyrine and her brother Michael. While still living in Kalispell Montana, Shelley gained another brother Ralph and when her family moved to Coulee City WA her little sister Jackie joined the family. Shelley was a dedicated Preschool/Kindergarten teacher in Arizona, Northern California and in Moreno Valley. She adored her family, son Grant and daughter Amy and especially her grandchildren Kristin and Kyle. The only thing more important to Shelley than family was her love for God. Not only did the stories and poems she wrote reflect her faith and devotion, her service to others was a constant demonstration of putting worship in to action. Shelley and her husband Fred (who passed in 2021) were dedicated pantry workers at Hope Lutheran Church. On May 3, 2022, Shelley was welcomed into heaven by her parents, John and Helen Brown, sister, Kathy and her husband Fred. Services will be held to honor her on June 11, 2022 11:00 AM Lord of Life Church 13600 Nason St. Moreno Valley Help us honor Shelley’s memory by donating to Feeding America https://app.mobilecause.com/vf/PalestisFamily or text “palestisfamily” to 71777 to be automatically redirected to the link.
