Jason "JJ" Ray Peterson Jr.

February 9, 2000 - June 17, 2022

Our beloved Jason Ray Peterson Jr., or as we all know him as “JJ”, was born on February 9, 2000 in Moreno Valley, CA to his loving parents, Jason Ray Peterson and Darlene Martinez Peterson. He was the third of five children. As a kid, JJ loved playing basketball and tackle football with his baby brother Joshua Peterson. JJ also loved BMX racing with his brothers and sister and cousins. No matter what sport he chose he was great at it. As he grew into a young adult, he enjoyed boxing, listening to his music, watching tv shows, dancing, drinking some beers, and hanging out with his family. Anyone who knew JJ knew family meant everything. He shared a special bond with his parents whether it was his loving long talks with his dad or the unbreakable friendship with his mom, as many of you knew he referred to her as his best friend. He also had a strong connection with his brothers and sisters and loved his nieces and nephews, and they loved their uncle JJ. JJ was called home June 17, 2022 in Moreno Valley, CA. His grandfather, Steven Martinez and his grandmother, Sharon Peterson preceded him in death. His parents Jason and Darlene Peterson, his siblings Andrew Picon, Michael Martinez, Erica Ramos, Joshua Peterson and Serenity Peterson, his nana Christina Martinez, his grandpa Roger Peterson, survive JJ. Along with the Martinez family, the Peterson family, the Glasser family, and the Caruso family. As we say our goodbyes, your family hopes you continue to dance in the sky. Until we meet again. We love you all the way up to the sky. A visitation will be held on Saturday July 2, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and the service will begin at 2:00 pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Hemet, CA.
