    Glenn Richard Teaman

    August 8, 1931 - February 20, 2022

    Retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant and decorated veteran Glenn R. Teaman of Moreno Valley, CA passed away February 20, 2022. Glenn was born in Bellefonte, PA August 8, 1931 and graduated in 1949 from Bellefonte High School. He was one of eleven children and remained close with all of his siblings through the years. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in the medical field starting as a corpsman and later trained as a surgical technician. He also worked a number of years in Physical Therapy. During the period from November 1950 to November 1980 he served at 6 different air bases and also 1 year under NATO in Iceland during the Cold War. His last tour was served at March Air Force Base where he became the First Sergeant of the Medical Squadron. Glenn loved baseball and football – always cheering on his home teams the Pirates and the Steelers. He donated much of his time to Little League baseball as a coach, manager and board member and to Moreno Valley High School football as their trainer. Glenn and Dorothy enjoyed going to yard sales, traveling and spending time with their family. Glenn is preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 66 years, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughter Suzanne (Gene) and son Richard (Sally), 6 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren who will miss their Poppy and his wonderful hugs and love greatly. A viewing will be held Monday March 28, 2022 from 4 – 8 pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley. The memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 29 at 11:30 at Miller-Jones Mortuary with interment following at Riverside National Cemetery. After the services there will be a celebration of Glenn’s life at Marinaj Banquets and Events, 22606 Alessandro Blvd., Moreno Valley.
