George "Jorge" Luis Castellanos Cedre

Our beloved George "Jorge" Luis Castellanos Cedre departed this life on February 23, 2022 at the age of 76. George was born on August 2, 1945 in La Habana, Cuba to Esteban and Guillermina Castellanos. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Carmen Castellanos, his daughter Liset Castellanos, and grandchildren Barney and Jasmine. George was one of nine children which included his three sisters and five brothers. George was known for his incredible sense of humor. He was funny, kind, affectionate, and overly generous. He never hesitated to give a helping hand whenever possible. George was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather. He was like a second father to his only grandson Barney Garcia. George was affectionately known as “Kai” by his immediate family. He was also known for his deep commitment to family throughout his entire life. A visitation will be held 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Miller-Jones Moreno Valley, 23618 Sunnymead Bl., Moreno Valley, California. A funeral service will be held after the visitation 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Moreno Valley. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary.
