Darrell Robert Helzer

September 23, 1965 - December 21, 2021

DARRELL R. HELZER, age 56, passed at his home in Perris, CA on December 21, 2021. He worked as a skilled worker in the construction industry for the past 38 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing (AKA ninja fishing), cage fights and family events. Darrell’s personality and laughter was contagious and he was always there to lend-a-hand to others. Darrell spent the last 31 years with his wife, Sherry Helzer, their fur babies, his mother-in-law, Betty Phipps & Shana Reid. There is no doubt that his dad, Douglas Isaacs; father-in-law, Bill Phipps; and brother, Jeffrey Isaacs met him at the pearly gates to show him the ropes for his next adventures. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Sharon Isaacs; father, C.L. Helzer; siblings – Kimberly Helzer, Jessica & David Rubio, Phil & Milissa Miller, Johnny & Regina Noakes and Lisa Carson. Darrell was known as “Uncle Buddy” to his nieces and nephews: Jeffrey & Kalie Isaacs, Jonathan Issacs, David Rubio, Jessica & Johnny Martinez; Katelyn & Duran Young; Samantha & Johnny Castro; Kelly Miller; PJ Miller; Brian & Kadeisha Jones and Dominique Helzer; Maddie & Tim Noakes and Amy Sellors, Melinda Moore, Nathan & Josh Noakes. He also has many great nieces/nephews and many life-long friends. Other family includes: Bill Wilson, Perri Wilson & Sherry Carson; and the nieces/nephews: Aaron Reid, Aurora & Aiden Abarta, Jen & Josh Thompson and Jeff & Misty Wilson. Please join us for a gathering to celebrate and to share memories on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary in Perris, CA. An on-site reception will immediately follow conclusion of the services.
