Caroline Pasquilina Henderson

March 27, 1932 - February 24, 2022

Caroline Henderson was born on March 27,1932 and passed away on February 24,2022 at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, CA just a few weeks shy of her 90th birthday. Her daughter, Kathy, and beloved grandson, Brian, were at her side as she began her new journey. She was born Carolina Pasquilina Faustino (Lina to her friends and family) in Chicago, IL to Raffaela (Effie) and James Faustino who immigrated from Italy to America in the early 1900's. Her parents moved the family, which included her older brother Sebastian (Sammy), and younger sister Sara and brother Roger, from Illinois to California in the early 1950's. She married Roderick Henderson on October 20,1956 at Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Los Angeles and they had four children. Rod preceded her in death on December 20, 2000 as did her young son, Tommy Henderson, at the age of 9 years in 1970 and Carol was the last surviving child of James and Raffaela. She is survived by her sons Bill and Gary, her daughter Kathy, and her grandchildren Brian, Kevin, Matthew and Julia. She was a devout catholic, loved her family with all her heart, was proud of her heritage and a proud American. Nana, Grandma, Mom - we love you and you are greatly missed!
