Alfred Henry Roth Jr “AL” thankful for 95 3/4 years, passed away on April 2nd, 2022, in his beloved home in Murrieta, California, in the loving arms of his wife, Carol Barnes Roth. On May 5th, 1926, Al was born in Fullerton, California, to his late parents Alfred Roth Sr and his mother, Thelma Thompson. From a very young age, Al prided himself in work and spent 37 years in the same beverage distribution, sales, and management after a variety of self-supporting jobs. Al in all 37 years never missed a day of work. Al was in the U.S. Navy and was honored in Murrieta at the Field of Honor as a Hero For “exemplifying Service above self” alongside many others. Also, Al participated in the San Diego Honor Flight for Veterans of WW II on a trip to Washington D.C. to visit the military memorials. Al always enjoyed the challenge of working puzzles. His steadfast faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ led him to memorize many Bible scriptures! He enjoyed cooking and collecting cookbooks, singing in church, and tending to his home and garden. Al lived one day at a time with gratitude! Al was a successful self-made man, companion, and honorable wise gentleman; he is loved and admired by his family and numerous friends. His eyes twinkled bright, and his smile was always there. Al lived his life with positive, upbeat personality every day for everyone. Al will be deeply missed, treasured for eternity by his devoted wife, his longtime friend, Kimberly” Katie,” and her fiancé Shane, her mother Bonnie, and many others.
