Tom Bloom

Tom Bloom is the manager of the Miller-Jones Advance Planning Department. He says, "My goal is to help everyone know the peace of mind that comes from "Putting Your House in Order". What other profession can you think of where you wake up every morning knowing you will be helping families celebrate the life of someone that was very dear to them? Planning ahead is an essential responsibility each and every one of us have to ourselves and our families. .. Plan for this and save the ones you love, the emotional and financial burdens that go along with this time that certainly must come to all of us."
Giving service to people is nothing new to Tom. He served as Bishop of the Sun City congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 5 years. As Bishop, he presided over more than 45 funeral services; this experience led him to Miller-Jones in 2001 as a funeral counselor and manager of the Sun City mortuary. Tom says, "I am so glad to be with a group of community leaders that hold so many of the same values I do and strive daily to exceed the expectations of each and every family served".
An Inland resident for 18 years, Tom currently lives in Murrieta with his wife Robin. They have three children - Christina, Deanna and Daniel and three grandchildren.
Prior to serving in the funeral profession, Tom worked in retail leadership for 25 years as an award winning trainer and general store manager for K-Mart, Target, Office Depot and Home Base.
